It's business as usual guys, only the beginning of another adventure. I have my faith, my family and my friends. I'm good to go and feel great so far, so really, Lets not worry about it and have some fun. I still have a trip to Mexico planned in January and I'm looking forward to it. It maybe a bummer announcement , but I love me some knives, and while I may sell off my other stuff eventually, I'm probably gonna give the Carothers to my sons.

This is about the last time I'm gonna mention this stuff because its such a buzz kill, so carry on and have some fun!

You ever just cycle thru the knives in a drawer or however you keep and just pick em up, flip em around in the hands and such just to get a feel for them and such? Yeah , thats me. I have several I'm starting to think, why did I buy that? yeah it's cool but....
I'm thinking it's time to shuffle the deck. Move some and try something new. There are a few smith's around the site I want to own something from.

We all have our "petty vaniities." One of mine is my hair.

I've always had a lot of hair. I'm not bald or even what you'd call balding but recently the hair at the top of my head started thinning so that you could see "streaks" of scalp thru the stands of hair.

Not visible unless you're taller than or standing above me when I'm not wearing a cap but concerning to me just the same. So, I decided to try some OTC minoxidil which is supposed to work for both balding and thinning. Guess what? It works! At least for me . . .

Been using it for a month and there's already less scalp visible where I'm applying it. It comes in different forms -- liquid or foam. Liquid is cheaper and easy to apply. Only costs about $35 for a 6 month supply. Apply 1 oz (out of a measured dropper) 2x/day to the target area. That's it.

So, if you have a similar problem and haven't considered it before, give minoxidil a try.

If it works for you, Ill have to continue to use it for as long as it continues to work. It's not "1 and done" but that's not an issue for me.

OBTW, I started dying my hair again too. If I don't, it's white as snow. The hair dye is way more expensive than minoxidil!

LOL! ;)
