Way too many vehicles with poorly aimed headlights, flagging down passing UFOs, and idiots putting aftermarket LED bulbs in headlights not made for them.

Exactly this. I got no problem with LED and HID headlights, but when your a dumbass and don’t know how to aim them…screw you. And LED bulbs DO NOT go in reflector housings, gtfo here amateurs.

Before buying the Exotac lighter I did some reading on them and watched some YouTube videos where I saw many comments suggesting to just buy a Bic and calling it good. I guess Exotac wants people to see for themselves if their lighter is any better because they included a Bic lighter in the box! Not many companies will send you a competitors product!

I haven‘t had many issues at all with Bics over the years, but I will say that these long stem versions suck.

I didn’t get a bic in my shipment.
The striker is ridiculously difficult to use. I hope it will ease up with time. I couldn’t find my lighter fluid… gotta wait for some to come in. Will report back how it retains fluid and if it eases up.

Zippos leak in your pocket, or are empty, untill you wrap that rascal in a bike inner tube.
It will work for over a month. Cotton inside is a fire starter in an emergency.

SwarthyGnome , the wheel on mine took skin off the first few strikes but it definitely smooths out once you get the wheel and flint mated, I could tell a difference after just lighting it 15-20 times or so. Not sure if you saw any videos or reviews on how easy these are to overfill but doing so causes fluid to leak up into the top and it’ll light like a fireball. Filling the bottom-cap twice and dumping it in is supposed to be enough I’ve read.

GmpaJim , that’s a common hack for a zippo and I’ve kept mine in a plastic zip lock also haha. I shouldn’t have to do that with this lighter but it does make me wonder, how has Zippo not designed a case with an inset o-ring?!

I thought it was just that my lil virgin fingies were soft. Glad to hear that likely isn’t the case.
