Especially for women, look into those rechargeable handwarmer + power bank doodads (Amazon has several types).

Just about every woman I know, has cold hands (some, even in the middle of Summer). I've actually had one myself for 5-6 years now (and gifted more to people for Christmas). The model I have is no longer available, but it still works very well.

Heats up within 30-60 seconds, and before I gifted these, I tested the specific model I bought to see how well they worked, and how long they ran on a charge and was actually quite impressed. After 5 hours of continuous use, the battery life indicator went down from 3 LEDs to 2.

Can also be used as an emergency powerbank for cellphones etc., but I don't think any of them output more than 5v/2A, so charging isn't going to be anywhere as fast as the fast chargers for newer phones, but in a pinch, it can charge a drained phone enough to make emergency calls.

*** Be sure to not only look at the 'star' ratings, but read the actual user/buyer reviews. Some of them (not just these devices, that are ALL made in China, but for ANYTHING on Amazon) have 4 1/2 star ratings, but when you read the actual user reviews, you realize that the ratings are from shills in 1 of 3 ways;

- either the seller has used various accounts to post a lot of 5-star ratings on their item (because the actual user reviews are all negative/critical 1 or 2 stars, but the item still shows 4.5 stars)

- they've had different accounts post shill 5-star reviews (all using identical terms in bad Engrish)

- or on occasion, they're using a modified listing (this is a weird one. They originally listed another item, which has very good reviews, then instead of creating a new listing for a different item, they simply changed the wording/listing to a different item, keeping all the good reviews for the previous item. You only discover this when reading the actual reviews, and go, "Wait... what the heck are these people reviewing, because it definitely isn't THIS item").

Yeah, like I said, when I just use the 'new posts' button for subscribed topics, it's really easy to wind up posting off topic, without realizing which thread I'm in. I suspect it's the same for a lot of folks.

Ends up with threads like 'Next Sale' (and the 'Buy, Sell' thread) having unnecessary/off-topic chatter/clutter.

Restricting the posts in 'Next Sale', to just Nate or Jo, would move the chatter to the more appropriate 'Random Thoughts', 'After Sale Lounge', or 'Ask Nathan A Question' threads.

Frigid Phalanges are my least favorite part when it comes to carrying mail, where have these been?!! Thanks 👍

Darn Tough are the best of the best. They are the only socks I own at this point. They last forever, are comfortable, warm in the winter, cool in the summer, stay up, don't stretch out, made in Vermont, etc. Highly recommended!
Yes Darn Tough are the best. Light weight for the summer, mid weight with extra cushion for work and boot socks for winter and camping.

Smoky (R.I.P.) and Skyler both have the exact same habits, (including the staring), as each other...and strangely enough, do all of the same things in the exact same places in the house. When I say the same, I mean it. Where they rub on furniture, where they roll over and swim, where they kick up cushions, it's uncanny.

It blows our minds as they'd never met...Skyler was adopted three months after Smoky crossed over the rainbow bridge.

I think she communicates with Smoky in the great beyond.
