Hope everyone's prepared. The temperature and snowfall potential isn't anything outlandish for MI. It's the potential 40+mph wind gusts that might bring down branches and trees, that could take out power lines with them.

The freight train moved through my neck of the woods today, with lots of wind and blowing snow. Cold snap coming in behind it - looks like it's gonna get down to -13ºF tonight, but on the bright side, it's going to warm up to a balmy 7º tomorrow, so we got that to look forward to.

The freight train moved through my neck of the woods today, with lots of wind and blowing snow. Cold snap coming in behind it - looks like it's gonna get down to -13ºF tonight, but on the bright side, it's going to warm up to a balmy 7º tomorrow, so we got that to look forward to.

Yep. Wind is gone, we had > 30 degree drop in a couple of hours, still dropping.
