Why is it that I have no problems forking out ~ 500ish for any CPK from the Mothership (and far more for their sweet semi-custom preorders) on any given day and twice on any Sunday, yet I torture myself mentally when it comes to a $300 axe (Brant & Cochran) put in my shopping cart, agonize over it for a few minutes and then just like Nah and empty the cart? Is it because Nathan has some superpower and magical hold over me? Is it because I am convinced that my secret stash of CPKs will one day make me a gazzilionair? Is it because some of you are bloated with gas? This last one is an outlier but still a valid preponderance!

Yes me too, but you can't watch the great ones every time. My friend knew all the movies and introduced me to classics from various decades. He also liked seeing bad movies in the theater and occasionally making hilarious comments.
Citizen Kane is also one of Mrs. Loriendesign's favourite films. For her 40th, I asked Mike Quesenberry to take on a commission of a dagger that I designed for her. It's not that easy to see, but the mosaic damascus he made for it has nickel snowflakes. It's called...you guessed it; Rosebud!

No wonder your maker's learning curve is enviable. You have some great pieces on hand.

thanks Richard! I'm very fortunate to have so many amazingly skilled, talented and artistic friends and acquaintances in the custom knife world. Really looking forward to reconnecting with at least some of them at Blade '23!
