I’d buy one. I almost bought my first ever Ford a few years ago but I didn’t. Kind of wished I had. It was a 1974 four speed f100 or something, had a 400 ci motor. (Yes I just admitted I almost bought a ford, once) 😂 It was a sweet little farm truck.
We had a 1970 Ford F100 we used for hauling hay. That thing was a tank that went forever.

Why are "wings" so expensive?

I'm at my favorite beer bar/restaurant & they want $2 @for them!

Going to pass & buy a 10# bag of them at my local discount market & make 'em myself for about 25 cent each.
I remember 25 cent wing night at BW3 in college 😪

A bunch of us would go and order 20-50 wings each (and you could do as few as 5 of each flavor, so we could have 6-10 different types per person).

A local brewpub (Prescott Brewing Company) in the town where I went to school in the late 90's had a 10 cent wing night on Wednesdays. Only caveat was you had to buy 2 beers to get the deal, and no splits. I don't know how they thought that was a problem? 🤷‍♂️ 😂 It was a fantastic time! SO. MANY. WINGS.

Man, and I’m totally not meaning to sound like I’m tagging on you Mr Doc, I’m not. I’m just been a member on Ram and Cummins forums, and there is literally hundreds of nightmare stories of exactly what you just described, from all 1500, 2500 and 3500 Ram trucks. I hope they get it sorted out, if not 30 days waiting for parts or at the dealership and you can claim Lemon Law.

The term "dodgy" comes to mind

I seriously have to wonder, if a truck manufacturer offered a "1970 Heritage Model" with no electronics, manual windows, bench seat, V8 and perhaps most importantly - manual transmission.....I bet it would sell like hotcakes. Just a basic, stripped down truck with plenty of power and no BS. I'd buy one.
Add an optional manual 3-on-the-tree for added theft protection!

My land neighbor has 4 Fords from mid 1970’s. All are original and all start/run with hardly any maintenance at all.
I spoke to a mechanic who had an accelerator position sensor go out while he was off-roading mikes from anywhere. I know computers/sensors can make things better, but they can make nightmares too!

Sedan or station wagon, too. Emphasis on bench seat :) And a V8 of course.

This.
