I did order an extra set of unbuffed black micarta after the facts and asked Jo to kindly slap those on instead of the maroon linen scales which I had asked to receive as an extra loose set. Glad I did that because otherwise you may have gripped that I most've received your order in error

Well, we went camping. Things were going well. Had home cured thick bacon.

My 11 year olds arm is broke. A bike wreck and hour drive to ER. The boys were biking at the campground. And he missed the ramp ... So here we sit, and sit, and sit... It's clearly broken. The whole arm wobbles.

Quite discouraged. He wanted to go swimming tomorrow with all the boys. And the steaks I had on for supper are now probably ruined. My dad always said, boys will be boys.

As for swimming, Kevin Costner swam without using his arms in the flick Waterworld. Perhaps your 11 YO can watch the movie and learn from Ol' Kevin when he was the box office's bees knees. On second thoughts, nah! Let him pass on that idea!
