I want to be transparent about my higher price; it is not to flip or make money or any of that. I had to pay extra for shipping to snow land on top of the $465 and just wanted to recoup that with my previous purchase (unused black handled version) as I could not find the scales I wanted on their own. The prices are high but they are what they are; and if it doesn’t go at that price then that is just fine with me. I have a lot of faith in the D3V and grinds CPK does and wouldn’t mind keeping it as a backup or to give to my kid when he is of age. Have been through a ton of knives the last couple years and finally settled on CPKs as have most of what I am looking for.
Thanks for your time,
Andy

Hey man, you have nothing to explain to these bunch of knucklheads (I say that endearingly, though a patronizing kind of endearingly), you didn't swoop in and buy a bunch in a sale to flip it, you have an old knife that isn't being made any more. Jo thinks I'm crazy for what I paid for an old used "KeroSun" kerosene heater for the shop. But it was the best and they don't make them anymore, so *shrug*

Yep, on a quick count there were 39 posts on the first page, 40 with yours Nate. Damn my slow internet today...

In other news, the weather guessers thought that it would snow today. Yeah, right.

Son-of-a-gun! It's snowing and it's cold enough to stick! Winter has arrived in northern AZ. A bit late, but it's here.

Send it east. I've been walking in mud since November

I mistimed the refresh cycle and then when the page got refreshed my cursor ended up in the middle of Nathan's OP. By then I already knew that I was both roasted and toasted. Wahwaahhwaaahhh :D

I used to heat part of my house years ago with a KeroSun heater. Talk about bringing back memories Nathan. They were great heaters.

Memories indeed. We cooked hotdogs on top of ours during a power outage one winter when I was a kid. I can smell it now (the fuel)!

I had a clean run and still got smoked. I definitely should have laid off the coffee before go time, still coming down off the jitters :D

Luckily you don't seem to be afflicted with the same jitters when it comes down to your real trigger finger ;)

I thought I had done so well but damn no joke man folks around here are fast. Even after I realized the computer lied and I hadn't won I went back and counted and was so confused how I was number 30 with in 1 minute but was like post 13 lol.

That sale was nuts lol. People got skills on the refresh paste enter game in the CPK forum

Sorry Mat, you'll get em next time

Thank you Tom-Tom. I feel much better now :)

BTW, I may just wait for the preorder because hopefully Nathan will have the final version all sorted out with enough edgecut antique micarta material left for another humongous preorder run. Of course if there should be next time(s) for the protos, as always I will mix it up with all the youngsters on here till that preorder :D

Will run 27 hours on the two gallon tank, low odor, 10000 btu directional heat and built to last. It's a shame you can't get them anymore. I keep one around for emergency heat in case the power goes out, and run it in the shop when it gets really cold and the regular heat can't keep up.
