Had (still have, somewhere...) a Buckmaster from back in the 80s. Thick SOB with a hollow grind. Sliced well for about the first 0.5" - 1", and after that, the thick blade would bind. Same thing (even worse) when chopping or batoning.If anyone can give you the best answer for that......
