It's more about the ability to pack extra charged batteries with me when I travel or if I'm offroading, etc.
Also, it's a little light (no pun intended) on the lumens. My employer doesn't allow weapons in the office so I can't conceal carry. Instead, I carry a 1000 lumen flashlight with a strobe function and a pocket knife with a large blade (used to prepare my lunch *wink *wink). Ordering body armor soon and then I'll be set if someone decides to shoot up the office, which I could see happening if the political landscape shifts too much or the wrong person were fired.

I really wanted one of these, but I hate internal batteries that can't be removed easily. I carry spares, etc. for my edc light

Nowadays, batteries aren't much bigger than lights, so I leave a spare light in the car. Lord knows I have enough "old" lights.
