... I kind of feel like I stole Timmy's thunder a little bit...
No worries Man. I can imagine it feels pretty good to go from a drawing on paper to a sword. lots more steps. tooling choices, tool holding, material fixturing for multiple processes I'm assuming? The process itself?

lots more work there. we just happened to finish stuff we were proud of at the same time. 🍪

I just slapped a bunch of stuff that worked the previous time the part was run into a machine to run some more of em.

I'm a big fan of ambidextrous locks, especially ones that can be operated 1-handed, and locks that keep your fingers out of the way when closing the blade, and really like the Shark lock for all those reasons (and that the lock would take catastrophic material failure, to break/close in use).

I am no psychiatrist but music as a mood motivator may cause release of more dopamine as opposed to serotonin. I dunno know for sure though, Dr. Maximus may like to weigh in on this one.

ETA: unless it's Luther Vandross's. His music was def serotonin and yes, I'm dirt old!

Apparently a little bit of both. Probably more so dopamine though.

Research has shown that blood
flows more easily when music is
played. It can also reduce heart
rate, lower blood pressure
decrease cortisol (stress hormone)
levels and increase serotonin and
endorphin levels in the blood. It
elevates mood. Music can boost
the brain's production of the
hormone dopamine. Dec 31, 2020

Research has also shown that extended listening to TOOL can have the exact opposite effect.

But if I alternate it Marty Robbins, it ends up being a good cardiac workout.
