When there is an outage in our neighborhood you can hear them fire up immediately. I'd say more than half of the people around us have it. They say it's been great. It's pretty tempting when you get a few in the same month.Hey, any of you guys who have installed whole home generators, especially propane, I'd be interested in your thoughts regarding whether you've been satisfied with the performance, reliability, durability, warranty etc given the relatively high expense of installation.
We lose power a handful of times per year due to living in the mountains and trees falling on power lines and equipment, whether near or far away.
Not really interested in gasoline powered portable generators.

I feel like the Buck 120 gets a lot of screen time.Why do serial killers in movies have cool knives ? I can list at least 3 shows ..... but don't want to mention the scenes because they were disgusting.

Folks I know with natural gas set-up like them, but I prefer portable simply because of frequent earthquakes up here and the additional risk of a line broken.
