I just don't like Ulticlips.

Give me a DCC any day...but since they're out of stock everywhere I look for the Mod 4 Universal, I just ordered a couple of the Mummerts. Hopefully, I'll like those.

The Ulticlips always feel a little tight. Maybe if I used one for long enough it would be better. I like the DCC ones a lot. The Mummerts are just OK for pocket carry but great on a belt. I just got a leather sheath from someone here that included a Spyderco G-clip and I’ve been wearing it a lot. Feels like that is an option that doesn’t get enough love.

Variations of that type of "G" clip go back, (in my recollection), to at least the 90's in my experience.

Sounds like I won't be enthralled with Mummert. Too bad I ran out of DCCs.
 
It's true what they say.

Once you start down the path of evil, it is hard the first time, but it gets easier and easier every time you repeat it. For example, I didn't feel nearly as dirty tonight as I did the other night. In fact, I barely feel like I need a shower right now. By Thursday . . . I might not need a shower afterwards at all!

I spend a lot of time in sweats or shorts without a belt...so that's where DCC shines since it works well with or without a belt. I like pocket carrying with the DEK 1, DEK 2 and the newly received "Reaper". (I also regularly carry AIWB, but less so of late except for my daily pistol.)

I like the look of the Mummerts and I'll give them a fair trial. (I ordered two.) I also ordered a couple of extra DCCs just in case they underwhelm. I'm sure nothing will go to waste.

Did someone mention bacon? Now I'm drooling...

The Mummert should work OK without a belt, but that depends on the tension between you and your pants. Also helps to have some kind of a stop like a belt loop if you're not wearing a belt.

Worst case scenario is that can send them to me if you don't like them. :D
