Random thought: no matter how much time you spend in the woods and around bears, I always find it unnerving when I can smell them when doing chores and not see them. They are pretty well behaved at my property but it is moose calving season, so they are on the prowl. Had one kill a moose 50 yards from the cabin a couple years ago.
