Random thought:
I was just looking at a garden hose end (that big bad Benny boo stepped flat) laying out in the driveway and my old machinist brain said "Nate, that's 11 1/2 threads per inch, remember?" And I'm like "what? why am I trying to remember that?"
But there it was.
And it got me thinking. What other thread is 11 and a half TPI.
11
And. A half.
That doesn't make any sense.
That isn't anything. That is not a thing.
So I'm sitting down at the creek, with a beers and an AR-15, far removed from my machinery's handbook, and wondering what is going on with this 11 and 1/2 thread per inch nonsense. I don't think my lathe will even cut that.
And the wonder that is Google. It is a pipe thread convention. And I'm not a plumber so I wouldn't be familiar with it.
Stupid coyotes. They're not impressed with my gun toting beer drinking smelly burp bilching half-blime middle-aged machinist fat ass and my perfectly reasonable thread curiosity. I hate them.
Carry on
That's what indentured servants are for. By servants, I mean kids.I mowed the lawn today. Hot as hell outside.
The spiked collars for Anatolian and Kangal dogs in Turkey to protect against wolves might be cool in D3v or Magnacut for the wetter climates.Machine protective armor with steak hooks to get the coyotes attention and beer holders....
.....Well not beer holders I might attack for a fresh cold one and some steak hahahaha
What else is 11 and a half? you say?tinfoil hat timmy

Neo was never REALLY out of the matrix.
The whole time he thought that he was ''awake'' he was really just in the pod.
Would a few cuts of cheap meat work as bait?tinfoil hat timmy

My wife’s pet rescue group also used to capture and spay/neuter the strays in our town. Some woman in town was threatening to sue them for spaying her cat. She called the county animal control to complain. Turns out there was no available recourse for her because the cat had no collar/tags and she admitted that she lets her cat roam at night. The county sent her a letter and a fine for not having her cat licensed/registered.The neighbor’s feral cat collection tends to stir up the ‘yotes in my neck of the woods.
Extremely effective, especially on your own dogs, cats, etc. It needs to be somewhere that only the coyotes can get to, which will probably be tricky.Antifreeze
