Random Thought Thread

I feel ya Jonny I got a text and picture of that beautiful box holding my HDFK ... and I thought surely it would be worth the few hours to run home and check it out and get back to my parents before they needed me ...

but I'll have to try cutting bowling balls in half until later in the week ...

Random thought: it feels weird going into Lowes and not buying some sort of pipe fitting.

Casual observation: it is insane how inexpensive consumer grade tools are.

Humorous anecdote: consumer grade grinding tools shrink at my shadow and shudder at the mere mention of my name...
 
Not a big fan of Home Depot, or is Lowes happen to be closer by? Personally speaking, I feel more relaxed when at the local Lowes than the hustle and bustle of HD but I have only 1 Lowes in a 5-6 miles radius as opposed to 3 HDs!!! I find HD better stocked when it comes to certain things but for my meager and often nonchalant purposes, the newer built and fancier local Lowes will do :)

My shadow shrinks and it shudders at the mere mention of having to go to Home Depot :D

If it adds to your Lowes/HomeDepot conundrum, Lowes along with Ellen Degeneras just donated 1 million green backs to rebuild parts of the schools and gymnasiums in my local community. Certainly makes me want to support a company thats gives back

I bought 6 extra bags of mulch which i do not need after using like 20 of them already. Now you're make me feel guilty for wanting to take these back :D

Rockport, huh? As a Texas kid, I and a bunch of us used to do lotsa wade fishin' (specs, reds, etc) out of Seadrift. Great memories.

I wish I’d brought my HDFK with me on this business trip in MS. Lessons learned. I found a big stand of cane/bamboo for some walking sticks. My opinel saw did fine cutting them down but de-limbing them was a real bitch.
