I may have gone too far trying to find the right pack.

Anyone attempt edc2 scales on an edc1 knife?
Wondering if it would work. Thinner stock with trimmed down handles....
Random thought, figured I'd post it to try and satisfy my curiosity.

Yes, I have. My right hand is just under 9" in circumference (bigger than 8 3/4 but not quite 9!) so I'm considered an M+ or L- 'tweener I guess! That said, the differences are really negligible because of the contour of the handles. Both are very comfortable and do not feel like they'd want to escape my hands. I have owned Izula II and also GSO 2.7, but prefer these hands down (pun intended!) no matter how I interchange the handle scales. I have even tried my thicker EDC1 G10 handles on th EDC2. The verdict in any permutation is

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling it would work. I have smallish hands medium size in most things and was pleasantly surprised that the slighty larger difference in the swell of the edc1 handle sat in the pocket of my palm that much better. The only reason I even notice that ever so slight difference is when swapping between them (edc1 and edc2) in realtime. Otherwise you're correct I would've never noticed the difference had i had them at different times. I would've tried swapping the scales myself but last time I tried something like that I stripped the threads on the pin o_O. I promised Jo I'd never do it again :D
Glad to see it's interchangeable, hardware and all?
Thanks again

Four days with a full PayPal and no contact from Jo about the Comp Chopper preorder....willpower fading...so much nice stuff on the exchange right now:confused:.

I hope so! I also bought a BGFBM setup as another large blade. I'll do a more thorough chop off with all my large blades when they both get here...;)
Video or it never happened :p

My daughter just signed for a box from a place that mashes cats she said! lol But I'm stuck at work for the rest of the day.... Maybe I'll feel a stomach bug coming on soon...:p

A couple of small drops of Visine in a glass of water will dispatch you home very quickly, but be warned of the gross consequences both in your pants and the car's seat. The aftermath shall be NASTY!

My friends used to tell me they did that in the bars back in our bar-hopping days. I can't even imagine and I'd be ready to throw some fists if someone put Visine in my drink!

I'm milling the bevels on the V4E Competition Choppers today. Those cuts are removing 3/8th of a pound of steel, per side.

Are you planning on doing your 1/2 & 1/2 sales / marketing preference on this pattern, i.e, 1/2 of the steel toward the current preorder and then maybe 1/2 or less units for some future Fridays sales?
