Happy Birthday Grog ... I was grilling for my mom's birthday yesterday ... but luckly no bodily injures occured ... I would have enjoyed a few cold ones but didn't get to so I made it through unscathed.

Looks like you got a little pan-seared crust going yourself there, Grog. Jeeze! Happy burnday.

    Happy belated Birthday!

Those photos in the kitchen are great!

BTW, just to be clear, you got that burn THROUGH the oven mitt?

    Happy belated Birthday Groggo!
Nice looking oyster you have on your palm. I’m surprised you didn’t pop it already.

Hey thanks for posting that. Those multi axis lathes make me feel all tingly...

I enjoyed our conversation. I hope you'll swing by again some time.

Nope, I grabbed the mitt and wrapped it around the handle instead of putting it on my hand and it wasn't covering everything.

15 days later the damn thing finally popped. I was drawing up a Shiv sheath design and actually thought the roof was leaking or something for a second. No worries @fonedork I have more paper.

Ahhhh that’s gross. Can’t believe you didn’t pop it sooner, it looked like having at least an egg stuck to your palm! That steak looked like it might be worth it though.

I had a lot of weird looks and questions with my hand wrapped up, I told them all that if I had to do it over again I'd burn both hands for that steak. Totally worth it.

    Ah, ouch.

I don't have one of your sheaths yet, but having seen your work, you need to be more cautious with those hands man! I mean, ya don't have to go around wearing a glove full of Vaseline, but for cryin out loud, don't take unnecessary risks! Lol. Your work is art. Artists need to take care of their hands!:p

Not sure where to post, but if we are so to respond the next few days, we are getting some new carpet and will have to unplug our electronics. The house is in shambles. We will still have our phones, but there are certain things I like to do on the desktop for security reasons, so if I don't get back to you quickly, I will try to catch up next week as soon as things are back in order. If you don't hear from me within a week, or it's urgent, please feel free to send me another email. Thanks all!
