man. lifting heavy is awesome and was always my favorite. Maybe if i.get my electrician apprenticeship the medical insurance will pay for my gym membership.

If not it would be manageable... until I budget in recovery calories. oh man. most expensive part is eating correctly.....

cant wait.

It’s so expensive to keep the calorie game up, I use to make these outrageous shakes that were around 70 grams of protein and 1200 calories each. 2 a day and 4-5 moderate to large meals. Average 10-15000 calories a day. Pure insanity and became ultra lethargic after a while.

I ate 6 eggs a morning. Pork chop or ground beef for lunch. With dinner being chicken. Same things every single day. Menu didn't change.

Oh...and the whey protein shakes. Gallons of milk.

Lots of folks have no idea what it takes to build and keep muscle. The amount of food you gotta eat.

if you substitute an amount of ''vital wheat gluten'' for that amount of flour when making bread it adds about 60 grams of protein per loaf.

and yes I feel like when I start again I'm going to not change my calorie intake very much.

maybe start with one workout a week and see how that goes.

Per dollar, a gallon of whole milk a day is the most efficient way to get adequate calories for building muscle. I dont know if I could do all that.

If you wanna get big, you will. I was 175# at 5' 8". Husky with short legs.

Leg press was my favorite. 1000 pounds.

You have to have a protein goal. Per day. It's not easy either. That's when you find out. Food is priced to how much protein it has in it.

You don't count calories. If you're eating 90% protein. Meat.

Those guys in the above pictures?

I'd bet money they're in the 10,000+ calorie range. Maybe 15,000. Per freaking day. 5 day workout.

The first thing you read on the label of whole milk. Is how much protein.

I don't think the sled will run very good if you're thinking of using the tannerite to propel it into your truck bed......

But please please please post a vid hahahahaha
I didn’t get a video this time. I didn’t think I’d hit it with the .30-.30 with iron sights the first time at 100 yards but I guess I’m a better shot then I thought. 🤣

In the strongman/powerlifting world protein is always important as is calories. You’re definitely on point with the calorie consumption of those two guys. I aimed to average 10k a day weekdays and 15k a day on weekends. I was peaking 250+lbs at 6’2”
It was such a struggle to meet those eating goals

Big Z is the reason I got into Log Press.
Zydrunas was my favorite for years!
He’s definitely an inspirational dude. I only had the pleasure of meeting him once in the 90’s when I was younger. Family flew back to visit relatives after the fall of the wall.. But I always kept tabs on him as he got bigger, figuratively and literally, lol.
