Super glue in the desk drawer saves me those trips too 😬

Very handy stuff!

Don't forget the steristrips, in case the glue lets go early... In my case, I didn't have enough hands at 2:30AM to pinch the wound closed AND glue it together, so I had to use a combo of glue and strips and the strips are likely glued to my wound.

I bet you’ll be happy with them. I oiled my White’s today. I’ve had these for several years and still wear them 5 days a week. The other pair I have, have a couple of rebuilds on them and are probably 10 years old. I have a pair of JK boots getting built now so I can try them out. I opted for a six month wait to get 100$ off though so I still have 3 months or so left to wait. IMG_7142.jpeg

Anyone ever think that half the reason I like a good camera on my cell phone is for knife pictures, and then look at one you took and be like "Damn, I'm getting kinda good at this, and my new phone camera is light-years ahead of the first knife picture I ever took!", or is that just me.

I had a pair of their pac-boots and could not believe how well made they were. Only downside was my snowshoe bindings would not fit over them.

A welder/pipefitter I knew up here went to get White’s fitted every 2 years and just raved about how great they are. People take feet for granted but paying more for quality usually is worth it (kind of like tires).

B beeinak , I’ve had their pacs also and they are bulky. They ended up stretching a bit and being sloppy in the width. Eventually, I bought Hoffman pacs with the double sole for climbing….much better, IMO.

The Whites fitted Lineman boot is the best leather climbing boot that I know of. I’m sure there’re comparable ones out there, in other regions, maybe.

Funny thing is, most Lineman I know wear leather mountaineering boots these days. There’s something to be said about dry feet in a warmer and lighter boot. If ya didn’t learn to climb a pole in old school line boots though, ya didn’t learn to climb. Lol !
