If you have ever changed the crank position sensor on a 7.3 power stroke, you know it's not a particularly difficult or time-consuming fix but there's this 10 mm bolt that you can't actually see to put back in you have to go by feel. And it's freezing here this morning so my sense of feel was the first thing to go. I have dropped this bolt and fished it out of the rocks now about 10 times and I'm just about ready to set the whole thing on fire

If you set it on fire, at least you could feel your hands

Wrap a small piece of Duct Tape inside out around the head of the bolt. It will give you enough sticky to grip onto when you can’t see it. Then rip it off once it starts to thread in. Old hack trick my Gramps taught me.
