GEONBAE!!!

Not really a Shiv. It's a 14-inch pig sword.

Cognitive dissonance makes my brain hurt sometimes…

On the one hand, I see the faithful CPK fan base impatiently waiting for more practical things like a folder and clamoring for the return of more favorites like Skinners, HDFK’s, DEK3’s etc. while you divert intellectual capital designing a 14” Pig Sword that 99.99% of the population has no rational use for…? 🤔

On the other hand, I recently received my K20 that I bought into on a whim with absolutely no need or practical use for and now have to confess that it is the most awesome edged masterpiece I have had the pleasure of owning! 👏

I‘ll admit that I am at a loss understanding your business model at times. Making a lot of money fulfilling demand for popular models does not seem to satisfy you intellectually as much as constantly pushing the boundaries of knife design to new and unexplored levels. I admire the way you find a way to balance the two disparate elements and make it work while still growing your business.

Keep following your heart Nathan. I’ll keep following even though I don’t always know where you are going because the results are always impressive.

Cheers!

Phil

Man, Fort Hood has been hammering it.

The percussion shakes the pictures on the wall. The candle holders rattle.

Usually you'll hear some rapid fire burst of smaller weapons. This is tank rounds.

Last night that blasted away until 12pm. Loud enough to make you wonder if something that isn't Fort Hood was getting blown up.

Now, they're back at it. KA-Boom... Rattle rattle.

Other than that, my liege is a genius, a design maven, a perfectionist and an artist who drives sh*tty clapped out Fords ;)

My son split his face on the corner of our stupidly sharp edged coffee table last month. Took him to the ER and after a 6 hour wait, he was given a blob of glue on the cut. The cost of this blob of glue was $3000. View attachment 2455927
My glob today cost me $4.99

I forgot that the spring in a Buck 110 knife is very efficient at snapping it closed when you least expect it.

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist is going to laugh at me for talking shit about Fords again.

Not sure how the truck started so easy this morning but the batteries took a shit after we got to the in laws. 🤣🤣

My FIL saved the day though. Would have been $600 for two new AGM batteries, he has a business account at NAPA, I got the same two AGM batteries for $325. 😍😍

And he must of felt bad for me so he filled my truck up with diesel too. Woohoo. Thank god for great family.
