There sure are a lot of CPKs for sale.

I received the HDFK today. It's beautiful, but it BIG! I didn't realize that it would be that big. Not complaining, just observing.

It sure is big and beasty, I completely agree. In fact thats the only reason i sold mine. I like shorter blade lengths, around 4.5"-5". Hdfk is perfect other than being to big (for me).

Perhaps the market is finally getting close to meeting the demand. I think anybody who wants an EDC can get one, and ditto the HDFK. FKs, MCs, and older patterns are still fetching a bit of a premium, though. I wonder what a potato knife would go for? (No, I'm not selling mine! It gets used ever day.)
 
I was handling my HDFK and decided to compare it to my Swamp Rat R6. Surprise! They are the same size and the HDFK feels lighter, so I weighed them. The R6 weighs 14.4 oz. and the HDFK weighs 12.4 oz. The grip of the HDFK is a bit fatter. Both are comfortable.

Those R6s are a beast of a blade at .26 ish thickness :-) That clip point is really sweet !!
