Gonna have to put together "The Practical Shiv & Kukri" handbook. Should be a big seller.

Including chapters on:

1. How to pocket carry your shiv.
2. Is that a kukri in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
3. Which is more effective...hacking and slashing or skewering?
4. What does #NotNathan mean?
5. How to bribe mods and win Friday Sales

A $1K kukri is more practical than a $1K Shiv and those had no problem selling out. Coming from someone who bought a double edged Shiv 2.0, I'm in for a CPK kukri for sure.
I think our experience with $1,500 $1,600 $1,800 swords should also testify here.

No conceivable use for this, but I need one sitting next to my work desk.

The updated Skinner in D2 again ?
Same question went through my head. But in Engrish. ;)

FWIW, I called Spark this morning and asked him to add some more of the suggestions I had laid out above...

...should be enough "word to the wise" going forward. The rest is up to the individual.
You da man! 👍(again :D)

I doubt there's going to be a big market for $1,000 Kukris
QFP. 🤣 I'm sure the pre-order will last for a couple weeks... 🤪

ETA - I already have a few nice Kukris. Expensive Busse ones. One is a custom shop job (link to pic of the 3). I'd probably still buy one when you offer, even though I don't need another... Just sayin'

I'm not interested in a kukri, but I'm 100% certain they will be devoured like a dead cat by a river full of piranhas, regardless of the $1k price tag

We may need to start a go fund me for Nathan. He's going to need a lot of counseling to get in touch with reality about the fanatical demand for anything he makes. At this point, he might be able to shit in a box and sell it! 😆

I'm excited to see pics from everyone that buys a kukri and uses it!

Yep, ColoGuard instructional videos.

Order a little extra steel. Cut into 300 smallish squares. Engrave with CPK and D3V logos.

“Custom CPK D3V paperweights. Guaranteed not to fail, even under hard use. $200 + $15 shipping”.

Probably still sell out in 20 seconds or less.
That's probably not too far from the truth. Imagine if Nathan made lanyard beads and challenge coins!
