I’m so tired.
Vehicle issues with a spare/'for fun' vehicle are bad enough.

Vehicle issues with a vehicle used for work, costing time/money, could potentially make a person wonder if insurance covers tannerite mishaps. 😅
yeah or if you have kids, live where the weather is decently inclement, etc. it feels like an internet trope that anytime someone mentions buying a new vehicle some guy with no kids, a flexible job, technical skills, and no HOA pops up to say he has 3 $500 cars he maintains in his driveway and at least one of them is always running and why doesn’t everyone just do that. Cause it’s the cheapest?

I had an old Plymouth Neon in my younger years and it had a massive dent on the passenger side door. I thought I would fix it by getting one of those dent puller tools where you drill into it, bang it out, and Bondo. Well, after 5 or 6 holes and zero progress on the dent, I gave up. I fielded questions like this until I got rid of the car, "Are those bullet holes?!".

That car was such a piece of shit and I was an idiot. My life was considerably improved after we parted ways.

^^^That photo with the PMS/bloaty mom jeans weirds me out (so do the damn commercials). Cut that $#!t out.
I am also weirded out
I cloned myself once.. but I immediately realized there could only be one. A battle ensued, I'm not sure who won, but I am confident that it was me.
This happened to me in the womb. I am both twins now.
With the BC, Jo beat her normal 2X4 time by about 15%. I also got through a 2X4 in fewer hits than usual (5 good whacks). At 24 oz it's not particularly handy, but it bites really deep.

It's not competition legal, but if it were it would be very competitive.
Hello Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist

I’d hold off on the new Tundras, due to engine problems like Kia. Machining debris is causing engine issues. Though I’m a Toyota fan, I’d go with domestic for a full size truck right now. Unless you can find the 5.7 Tundra for a good price, those are awesome trucks.
I’m leaning towards a late model Power Wagon. 👍🏼

Hard to beat a Cummins. Sounds like they are finally putting a good transmission behind it with the ZF 8 speed, but we will see. The 5.7 liter hemis are pretty bullet proof in my opinion, other then they like to eat exhaust studs and manifolds.

Chevy, never had one so can’t say to much. My neighbor always seems to be working on his wife’s GMC Terrain, his 2500 seems to be a good truck.

Fords, they had bad years but I think everything is sorted out now. The new Gen 3 Eagle 6.7 liter Powerstroke is probably the best diesel engine they have ever made, yes better then the venerable 7.3. I could literally pull my house off the foundation if I wanted to. And when I push the gas peddle it GOES. No dead pedal like my Ram Cummins had, that was dangerous. 475 hp 1050 ft lb of torque stock. Yeah buddy.

I can’t speak to much on the Ecoboost engines, but I think they are crap. My neighbor loves them. Did they ever fix the issue with them eating cam phasers?
I'm not sure... but sounds like GM made a crappier version of the eco boost lol

And I will honestly say........ I've always hated the sound of those in raptors!

I'd love a 6.2 truck ... but have no honest reason to own one but smokey burn outs and bald tires... that is why I have resisted

Damn me trying to be mature lol

And one last note. Summer use to be my favorite season until I started doing HVAC. I hate summer with a passion now. Late nights every night, and people are just assholes when it’s hot and they don’t have AC. I’m over it. 😡
Same dynamic in power industry, Josh. Sure is purdy out, though. 😁
