BTW, forgot to mention:

I had the opportunity to put a Work Sharp Precision Adjust Professional Knife Sharpener through the paces, and I can definitely recommend this, for folks who can't stomach the price of a Wicked Edge or TSPROF (what I have), especially if you can find it on sale (friend found it for $168 shipped, vs the regular $249, which was ~1/3 the price of a WE/TSPROF).

The advantage of the TSPROF, is that it can handle larger/longer blades, but it really needs to be mounted.

The WSPAP on the other hand, worked just fine sharpening a 10" bladed chefs knife, simply set on a countertop (and the kit is small enough to be portable).

1) these are NOT the Work Sharp powered belt Sharpeners, which are NOT recommended for CPKs, as those can and will overheat the apex of the edge, compromising the edge holding heat treat for D3V

2) I don't have any real experience with the plastic frame of the less expensive non-Pro version, which folks have claimed tends to flex with larger/heavier knives. There ARE folks selling 3D printed supports to mitigate the flexing for the plastic framed versions. The Pro version has a metal frame, and includes a support as well.

I’m going to bed bro I’m starting earlier tomorrow. 140 on the roofs I was on throughout the day. 🄵🄵
Ingredients for the 65f Phase Change Material in the video I posted a week or two ago, are supposed to arrive today.

I'll post up my results, positive or negative, after testing it.

Could be huge for all you guys who have to work in these types of conditions where heat stroke is a very real danger.

Heck, if it works as claimed, it could make a huge difference for situations like the power outages in TX, from Beryl.

Pretty nervous. In 4 hours Im taking my step daughter to swimming lessons while also having my 16 month old. Never once been solely responsible for the baby in public please pray for me she doesnt shat thru her diaper.

If she does, at least there is water close by. Just dunk her lower half in the pool and put a new diaper on. Voila. :)
