Loved them! Used to watch on the regular when they were on in the late '70s/early' 80s. Seems like it was in the evening, but it was best viewed at 4:20. Kermit may have been the star, but Statler & Waldorf made it for me, along with the Swedish chef.

Plus, they had a crazy line up of guest stars, Steve Martin, Alice Cooper, Vincent Price, the list goes on. They did some pretty decent covers as well, not all home runs but then again, it's the Muppets. Not so much the 2011 one, but liked the Muppet movies too. Jim Henson was truly a wizard. What can I say? I'm kind of a nerd and never really grew up...

Oh, oh, do you know what Kermit said at Jim Hensons funeral? Nothing.

FWIW the DEK2 that sold instantly was more. I am surprised it went so fast and the DEK3 is still there. I grabbed several DEK2s in Friday sales but the DEK3 was only offered once or twice and I don’t think sharp all the way around was an option (don’t really remember, I’d have to go look up the old threads).

Both were offered by pre-order once. Sharp all the way around was an option on the DEK3 only for $75.

That’s why I specifically mentioned the Friday sales. The DEK2s were available in several in pretty good quantity. The DEK3s were only offered (I think) one time, maybe twice, and I don’t believe sharpened swedges etc were an option in that sale.

You are correct on the DEK3 Friday sale, it was a multi model sale, and the DEK3 was available (only once) with no other options other than scale selection (where I chose mine).

The DEK2 was available multiple times on Fridays & 4 or 5 different weeks on the CPK website too, (where I got all mine with no pressure).

Never did think the DEK2 was going to be such a demanding classic 👍

That’s right! I forgot they were on the website too, that’s how I got one of mine.
 
I thought I was all set with 3 DEK1 (one D3V flat grind & one MC flat grind, plus a MC Hollow with swedge) and a pair of DEK2 in D3V, and a Basic 5 Cruwear. I’ve got a an EDC in D3V and 4V as well. My K20.1 is not ready yet.

So wasn’t thinking I needed a DEK3, but who really needs a knife like this anyway 😅
