There’s a bbq place in Vancouver, WA called Daddy D’s that has their pit at a gas station/mini mart. There’s a small seating area inside, but it ain’t exactly fine dining, and VanWa isn’t exactly known as a bbq mecca. They burn some pretty solid meat and the sides are money as well. I’ve had bbq in a lot of places, some of the worst (and some of the best) in places like Nashville and KC. Never once had to do the ‘green apple quick step’ after eating there and I hit it a lot.

well, I guess the question now is; why was I so mad at Tom Cruise so many years ago?
Probably jealous because he was the one dating Joey.

Now that right there sounds like a whole lot of plain old crazy talk… If only they’d just go to those inflammable refrigerants instead, seems like a simple solution that would solve so many of those pesky refrigerated type fire incidents 🧐 🤣 🤷🏻‍♂️

I get all of my bbq meats and supplies from DOUBLE D’s in Mountlake Terrace! 👍🏻🤣

Has anyone ever come across a knife design that they absolutely love but it's made from a steel you dislike? I got my hands on a knife (probably best to remain unnamed) that is absolutely fantastic. I love the design and aesthetic, it feels amazing in hand, it's the perfect size and weight for what I want it for, but it's made from a very rust prone high-carbon steel. It actually had a decent amount of rust around the edge of the scales and in the thumb ramp jimping right out of the box, brand new. Admittedly, I have a bit of a rust complex and I don't like knives that require lots of care and maintenance, especially when it's something I'm buying to EDC quite frequently. It's a bummer. I would buy it in a heartbeat and I'm confident it would rank among my favorite knives if it were made from one of the many stainless or high-alloy steels I prefer. Oh well... one less knife I have to buy I guess 🤣

Buy the knife. Use the knife. Be happy. Don't worry about a little bit of rust, it doesn't matter.
