My car computes range based on recent driving. If I've been doing city driving it will say a full tank has a range of 450. If I fill up after a long highway drive it says 505. If I fill up after city driving, then hit the highway, it can update the range similar to what Murphjd25 saw.

My F-550 has AIDS

The new truck on order is the 6.7 powerstroke.

Tragically. It needs premium fuel if you're heavy. And I'm usually heavy. If it's half the mileage of the diesel (and functionally half the power) and the fuel actually costs more.

But yeah. No DEF. yay

I think my Ford runs on fairy dust and unicorn farts. Fueled up today, DTE gauge said 604 miles to empty. Drove 94 miles, and it says 584 miles to empty.

I installed a 67 gallon Titan fuel tank into my 2002 F250 7.3L Longbed Diesel when I bought it over 10 yrs ago & it has a theoretical range of over 900 miles at just 14 mpg, which is usually the best that I can get out of the truck.

Drove the truck all the way to Riverside from the SFBA (398 miles) to pick up some wheels for my BMW & the tank was still over 1/2 full when I got there.
Filled up the truck before heading back because I don't like running out of fuel & didn't want to experience the shock of paying for a full tank.

Minnesota state fair is far too expensive to be a family affair anymore unfortunlately.


I wish there were some sort of skill or ability or freakish bolypart or smell that I had that people would pay money to see or experience.

If any of you guys think of anything let me know.
