I'm working on a pair of dirks right now. Trying to 'antique' the finish has been a series of experiments. I'm putting it aside for now to focus on the handle. I made a sgian dubh a few years ago, so I'll just be missing the kilt which I'll skip.

For years, my brother-in-law and I have been debating the merits of (or lack thereof ) concerning the modern UTILIKILT. My wife recently brought me home one of these “many pocketed man dresses” and I simply said , “NO !”

Fast forward….work is slow today so I’m driving around seeing the sights. While sitting in a coffee drive through, this happened….

I paid over 1/3 more for the BFK than what I paid (each) for the UF1 & DEK which I bought over 3 years ago.

Prices have gone up a lot since then.

I think my Ford runs on fairy dust and unicorn farts. Fueled up today, DTE gauge said 604 miles to empty. Drove 94 miles, and it says 584 miles to empty.

We have a “First Lady”
If VP Harris wins… will he be “First Man”, or “First Husband”?
Will he pick out the new china and tend to all other “First Lady” duty’s?

My car computes range based on recent driving. If I've been doing city driving it will say a full tank has a range of 450. If I fill up after a long highway drive it says 505. If I fill up after city driving, then hit the highway, it can update the range similar to what Murphjd25 saw.
