I know teaching cursive went the way of the dodo, but is reading comprehension not a thing nowdays either?
I posted a for sale notice in big block letters…”Monster Wake Board Tower”
Listed all the board rack options, Bimini, speakers etc. etc.
Two pics of the tower, and my mistake, one pic of it on the boat, just for an example.
EVERY call I’ve gotten, thinks I’m selling a ski boat for $800.

I wish my cursive was as good as this. I can't even read what I write in script.

I've done worse, Murphjd25 Murphjd25 , don't feel bad.

Stood up into the corner of my shop bench with galvanized steel corner sticking out...and once managed to walk into my garage door which was at half staff. I'm sure I could think of more if I tried...
Well, I’ve walked through two screen doors. That last time, was with a group of guys attending a firearms related first aid class, all watching. It was a bit embarrassing. Mike

I deal with this every day. I will send an email with a number of questions or a number of items that need addressing. Responses will usually involve only addressing the first question or item and ignoring everything else. I then have to write numerous follow up emails when it could have been handled with just one, maybe two queries.

Scrolling (all the rage, I hear) doesn't require much in the way of reading comprehension, I suppose.
I deal with this every day. It makes me irrationally angry.

I don't think I'm some kind of genius or anything, but I really do believe I work with a lot of stupid people. Lazy or stupid....makes zero difference to me. You can't do your job and you create more work for other people.

I had a dream that an ECAM EDC2 was on the exchange for $332. Posted "I'll take it", somehow found out the seller was in NJ so I drove there and the seller is this 12yo kid who steals my wallet and does not give me an EDC2. Then I woke up and checked the Exchange just in case.

Sorry, I missed the second part of your sentence...I got so excited to provide a solution. LOL

It's so common I don't even think about it anymore. I just sort of expect it. (Probably from dealing with folks who can't bother to actually read the whole message.)

I see whatcha did there… 🧐😗

EB stopped accepting Amex for payments on 08/17/2024.

I'm not "in love" w/Amex but I separate my purchases between 3 different credit cards & use Amex for purchases on EB (& other sites).

EB will still accept an Amex card payment thru PayPal but (as I discovered today) not through GooglePay.

I assume EB stopped using Amex because it wasn't getting a big enough cut of the transaction fees or considered those fees too high but why you can still use Amex thru PayPal but not GooglePay is puzzling to me. 🤔

Anyway, that's the way it is. 🤷‍♂️
