I am so sick of the heat.

It’s hella dry, and no rain in sight for the next ten days. Eighties during the day.


It better get COLD this winter. I’m talking serious cold.

I bought new riding boots so I can stay out on the bike longer.


I got totally ripped off last winter. I’m expecting CONSTANT snowfall, temps in the single digits or lower, and MONTHS of it, or I’m going to demand to speak to the manager.

Some time last year, I realized I don't even know if any of the ski resorts in lower Michigan I used to go to, have survived.

Haven't been skiing in at least a decade, and between Covid closures, and the last two years (at least), it's been so warm, I don't think the temperature has stayed below freezing for a week straight.

Even if they used their snow makers, the weather warmed up enough to melt it every few days, for at least the past 2 Winters. I didn't want to look up the ski resorts I remembered going to, as it would just be depressing to find that they're long gone.

If I remember correctly, it was a seizure like most of our more interesting rides. (Could have been a rental, though.) We had purchased, leased and seized at our disposal depending on the group we were in and the sorts of assignments involved.

I've driven some vehicles that could be described as a seizure. Just not that kind

This boat is freaking huge, it's the size of an aircraft carrier.

The ocean has some pretty large swells right now and I was afraid I was going to get queasy but I'm doing okay. This enormous ship doesn't really sway much.
