I am so sick of the heat.

It’s hella dry, and no rain in sight for the next ten days. Eighties during the day.

It better get COLD this winter. I’m talking serious cold.

I bought new riding boots so I can stay out on the bike longer.

I got totally ripped off last winter. I’m expecting CONSTANT snowfall, temps in the single digits or lower, and MONTHS of it, or I’m going to demand to speak to the manager.

I had a scuba diving buddy who had very deep family pockets and got a Mitsubishi 3000 GT. When he got it, he asked me to drive it to see what it was capable of, figuring that because I had a badge I wouldn't get into trouble if we got stopped. (Fortunately, we didn't.)

I will say it was fast. I don't know if it was as fast or faster than the Grand National I'd sometimes get to drive which was a UC car at work.

My most exhilarating ride was going across an Indian reservation in FL with my wife on the back of the ST1100 at over 130 mph and her hitting me in the back and telling me to go faster. (I was younger and stupider back then...but it was fun.)
You had a Grand National as an undercover car?? That's pretty cool!

If I remember correctly, it was a seizure like most of our more interesting rides. (Could have been a rental, though.) We had purchased, leased and seized at our disposal depending on the group we were in and the sorts of assignments involved.

Mmmmmmm

You know I have love for the grand national! Lol

Yeah, they were cool cars. Pretty quick for their day and lighter and vastly simpler than cars today. Slick 5-speed transmission, over 200 horsepower, and not too heavy.

Kids these days don't know what they're missing. Cars are mostly big heavy smush boxes anymore. The idea of feeling the road through the steering wheel is a foreign concept. These cars are definitely not state-of-the-art, but sometimes things like drive-by-wire don't make the car better.

For example, a late '80s Taurus SHO or a 90s probe GT is a lot of fun to drive. I will die on this hill.
No way I'm driving a car named for something that gets stuck up anuses...ani?...whatever, you know what I mean.

The CPC predicts that during this fall & winter, the probability of experiencing La Niña conditions is very likely. You should be getting snow in the Northeast and your friends down in the south, will probably see more hurricanes!
