So my wife got home this morning after work
... walked into the back yard and seen wood shavings all over

She asked "wtf happened and why is there a terrible prison shank on the side of your seat"

I replied " it's a mini baton"

Eyes rolled and just now I tried to show it's effectiveness.....

Yea..... couldn't split a chuck of wood hahahahaha

Maybe try using a bigger knife and a bigger baton! (SDFK)

It also helps to have a nice size log round to use as a striking base for the wood that your trying to break down into smaller pieces.

Well Joe put it through the wringer. Almost took out an artery during the process too, lol. I’d say it certainly lived up to expectations though.

Back home and on the mend. Doctors said I had a cellulitis and small hematoma on my head. Probably from where I hit it a month ago, and it healed and infected my head with an infection. Could have been a lot worse. Get your noggin checked and protect it guys.

Well, the results might not have been quite as impressive as you may have initially hoped for going in, but let's give credit where credit is due.

Considering that you were actually drunk carving, I think it's important that we don't lose sight of the fact that you created a recognizable final product that came out pretty much according to spec, and also for accomplishing said task without springing any leaks or removing any fleshy parts. All things considered, I believe this more than makes up for the lack of effectiveness in what is essentially a prototype.
