Y’alls safety and well-being is more important than any knife.

Truly amazing seeing the news coverage of the hurricane. My inlaws have had 9” rain in 2 days and it hasn’t hit them.

Best wishes to all who are affected, and glad that some of you have generators- going to be a long clean up.
 
We're running on generator here.

I had a tree leaning over trying to take out power to the shop so I needed to do some emergency pruning to try and save the tree and our production capacity for the next week or two....

My son learned something and using a forklift and a chainsaw today...

Wow. We got whacked pretty bad in our area of SC. My neighbor had drive an hour to find a gas station with power today and said I-26 was closed with trees down in spots. A lot of reroutes on backroads with downed trees and power lines.

Fired up my little portable generator to keep the freezers and fridge cold. Modified electrical panel will be on the to do list to be able to run my well pump next!

It's a bad feeling when you don't have power. But it's a very bad feeling when you're on a well and you don't have water.

I just heard that interstate 40 between North Carolina and Tennessee is washed out.

I don't mean there's damage to the road from the erosion, I mean the road is fucking gone.
