It wasn't too hard to find. Admittedly we have pretty dark skies but it was visible with a lot of glow left from the sun and a big gibbous moon. Picture was from about 50 minutes after sunset (sunset based on location/weather underground, not by observation). Visible almost on the line between Venus and Arcturus, very slightly closer to Venus. I think the nucleus will be right on that line tomorrow. I couldnt find the damn manual function.They always have a manual option.
Could be the thing on the right. Sometimes the sensor is also a button. In any case, there is always a manual flush option because a lot (most) are battery operated and people don’t change the batteries.
