No standardization on things that could have been easily standardized
Because someone decided that coupling in only a few standard ways, was too boring?Air coupling couplers.
There should be, maybe three kinds. Not two dozen.
they're trolling us that's why.Air coupling couplers.

And g code
Why on earth does Okuma use the standard codes but they don't mean the same thing.

^ yeah, that one.Over the years, I noticed a pretty stark difference between hygienists/dentists taking your gum pocket measurements (checking for gingivitis/gum disease).
The good ones are gentle and careful, and probe only deep enough to find the bottom of the pocket.
Some of them jab that probe in like they’re trying out for a judge’s position in Forged in Fire. Then they go, “Bleeding on XXXX”.
Here… sit in the friggin chair and gimme that probe and I’LL show you some damned bleeding, you hamfisted idiot.![]()
Admittedly, it’s maker’s choice.I was wondering with the release of the new 2024 EDC...
What are everyone's thoughts as to how we should we refer to it?
EDC1.2 or perhaps the EDC3.2 or maybe even something else like the EDC4 or '24EDC
The 2024 version seems more akin to the original EDC than the later (swedged) EDC3?
It hasn't been featured/posted (yet) in the CPK Encyclopedia Thread.
