I have to laugh at the first part of this post.Yeah, it was apparently pretty well ruined by that dip in the snow.I tossed it out into my auntās pasture this evening trying to hit a stupid coyote. Looked like it just bounced off the little bugger and broke into several pieces. I donāt know why Nathan would do me like that.

This is an upslope storm (low pressure, counter-clockwise flow with moisture coming in from the east), so we typically get a lot more snow on the East slope than they do out on the West slope. That said, I donāt know if they got anything out that way or not. Thereās another storm coming in Friday that might bring some. Could also possibly dump another foot hereā¦![]()
I sometimes hunt 4th Rifle up just North of Meeker. However, since the bad winter kill a few seasons ago, most all license codes were reduced to only 10 tags per hunt code (some of these hunts had over 1,000 tags available before) in most of the NW part of the state. Havenāt even attempted to go back up there yet. Iām not Elk hunting at all this year.![]()
(Lots of reasonsā¦)

However, the second part and previous weather pattern references have me contemplating where youāre at. Approximate location, please. Thanks bud !
