Pretty sure JP was holding back & scared of knocking Tyson out

Yeah I kind of got the same feeling.

I don't think this was an exhibition match but I do think Jake Paul knew better than to hurt Mike Tyson. He's very conscientious about his image.

Jake Paul was definitely getting winded

And at the beginning he was clearly scared. He knew Tyson was going to come out and railroad him and that's exactly what Tyson tried to do and Jake Paul kept his distance until Tyson was tired out and then connected a lot of small punches. The previous fight was a bloodbath, these guys don't even really have much swelling.

Tyson in his prime would have been arrested for murder if they had put this Jake in the ring with him! Mike at his Holyfield digit age would’ve annihilated this Jake! This 58 YO Mike held his own but I feel that Jake gave Mike a bit of a mulligan out of respect.

Haha. Guys, it has been located, my wife hid it from me. There was a whole thing awhile back. ;)

Yeah, figured as much but takes me a while to catch up sometimes and I had to get some sass in before I got distracted and it was still fresh in what passes for my mind. And given the way that plot line had developed over several pages, I can’t imagine you were really all that surprised by either comment even if they were a little slow in coming. I mean, you have to admit that both suggestions really were viable considering how many items have actually been ‘disappeared’ by couches and laundry appliances.

Not sure about Nathan’s thoughts on this, and not trying to speak for him, but since we do seem to still be on the subject I feel like a little bit of recognition is deserved here. There was no allusion by either of us to any type of bodily function, nor did we suggest any action be taken against innocent household items, and I feel like that display of sound judgement and show of self restraint ought to be commended

Or not, but I’ve gotten even further behind lately and think I’ll get caught up while this incredibley random thought is being considered.

It started Thurs. with a shouting match at Bible study over AR-15 ownership. The theme was “Love your enemy” to cool jets after the election. Nice try Pastor.

Fri., Tyson loses.

Today, is a funeral for a 60 yr. old relative of my wife’s.

Tomorrow, we face the Chiefs.

The good news is, Mon. looks clear.

You can't cheat time. No matter the conditioning, and level of muscularity, once you reach a certain age, you gas out much more quickly than in earlier years. This is why I felt he needed to land early with a decisive blow or it was going to be a serious war of attrition.

On the bright side, my dog bit my wife's ear last night and I spent an hour or so trying to get it to stop bleeding from a couple of small lacerations.
(She wouldn't let me remove him from the home...in any capacity I was considering.)

It was probably a combination of things leading up to it, she leaned across him to check his rear to see if he had a "fishy" smell like when his anal glands are full. I wasn't in the room, but she said he growled, and she thought he was playing with her the way he does with me, but I have a feeling she may have leaned and put weight somewhere sensitive, guessing there, and he reacted the second time.

I was in another room and heard the scream and had a giant WTF? moment as I ran for the room. Ears, like scalps, bleed a lot. She had a nice knot on the noggin too.

It could have been real bad...but fortunately they are small cuts that just bled a lot. I'll remove the one bandage I applied to the two cuts on the inside part of the pinna tonight. Doesn't seem like it's weeping this morning. The other cut is behind the ear in the crease...and the bump all the way on the back of the head, but only an abrasion, (no cut), there.

Of all the things I never expected to happen last night, that was the furthest from my mind.
