Been through a few. Living on a barrier island for Hurricane Andrew in 1992 was fun. Been through more of them than I can remember, but the damaged woods on our property are a constant reminder of our last visitor.
 
made chili yesterday, got groceries, cleaned up the shop a bit, (renovating my work space, it's going great!) washed dishes after supper and then the power went out for a bit. Power came on long enough to make a cookie monster meme, then it went out again just in time for bed. Woke up to a powered house, lucky us! then went for a walk in the woods to survey the damage and there was plenty. Hopefully we'll have power all day, because I have some grinding to do.
 
Anyone have a recommendation for getting Kydex for my FK2? Picked up one here that only came with a leather sheath, and I really want a Kydex sheath. Seems like all the major makers on a google search either only take specific models, or have a month plus lead time.
 
We had a couple of trees down, but not anywhere that really mattered. The creek that was not running yesterday is raging today. I had a few tarps blown off firewood but all in all it is going pretty good here. It was not as bad as it sounded while trying to sleep last night. The most rain is expected for tonight and the most wind is Thursday. How are the rest of PNW crew fairing? Good I hope.
