Fantastic line up of great knives!!!!So my fellow CPK fans I have an confession to make, I was originally enamored by the edc knives Nathan made, but couldn’t get one (the joy of being a) and not smart enough to get one after they came out. I thought I would just wait for another release of the edc knife and ignore the other options
, I was wrong and ended up purchasing a few before the next edc came up, resistance was futile
. Those bloody ergonomics and the amazing steel and knives. The evil scientist caught another victim. View attachment 2727207View attachment 2727208
Nevermind they have been water cooled for a while now.
I think they are only water cooled on the HO. And yes all that is a different tune anyways. Lol.Idunno about that. I ordered the high output 6.7 which does have a water cooled turbo, but I don't believe it was standard when I ordered it.
If it's standard now, I dropped a non-trivial amount of money for a freaking tune...
The more I’m reading it sounds like an epic failure too! The entire cab needs to come off the truck.I like the idea of a water-cooled Ford turbo. That's a new failure mode I haven't experienced before! (they usually just leak oil and air pressure)
All great knives! Buffed Burlap is a favorite of mine! That little fella on the far right is good too, I think! So my fellow CPK fans I have an confession to make, I was originally enamored by the edc knives Nathan made, but couldn’t get one (the joy of being a) and not smart enough to get one after they came out. Agreed!!!!Love it, the dek 3, it cuts like a “laser”
^^^100% this!!!That's a good 'un right there. One of my favorite drams.
You should give it a try if you see one available. 16 is my favorite but I don't see it very often. I do have younger bottles that are pretty good though. Laphroaig and Ardbeg are known and touted as being particularly rich and heavy on the peat. You and I love it but the peat can sometimes mask other flavors and profiles that I might find equally enjoyable. Enter Lagavulin - it's smoother and a bit more balanced, in my opinion.
Iodine!!! lolI usually offend the hell out of someone when I offer them a bit to try. The look on their faces, combined with exclamations of "Turpentine!", "I just licked an ash tray!", "Why do you drink this?!", amuses the hell out of me. It's certainly an acquired taste and palate.
They are great for star watching. I love my panoramic sunroof.
My late (Sicilian) father-in-law had Fernet Branca on the table after dinner most nights. My wife hated it, I didn't mind it.
Tina and I were in Little Italy in NYC some years ago and at a restaurant a German tourist asked the waiter for some Fernet. The waiter didn't know what it was. Tina and I laughed, told the tourist that the waiter obviously wasn't Italian and told him what to ask the bartender for.

I was going to say SEX but then realized that was a ford. You cant pay for hookers when all your money goes toward hard drugs you know.

I love the sound of a water-cooled turbo, but I can’t beat the easy of working on my 06 F250. After 18 yrs, the worse issues have been a resistor and vacuum pump. Let’s see what happens at 20 yrs…Can you imagine that
Picture that truck in 20 years.
I've had lots of trucks that were over 20 years old. Hell, that's when trucks are hitting their prime.
That truck. The 20 years from now. "Oh heck I think I have a bit of a coolant leak". "Oh well, I guess I'll just pull the whole damn cab off and work on that" "sure do hope I get it right the first time" "I wonder what other stuff I'll break taking that dang cab on and off".
