True, but I bet the little plate is the one most looked at (only). Pretty ballsy to try selling a stolen vehicle to a dealer.
Absolutely is, I’m sure. But most have the VIN right on the driver’s door plate too, and several other conspicuous spots like the frame somewhere in the engine bay. How don’t you make even a cursory check of that? I can’t believe a dealer would get screwed by this.

Years ago a friend of mine got his Expedition taken by the FBI. Apparently there were multiple vehicles with the same VIN, so they were checking them all. They got pretty invasive (to the point I wouldn't have wanted it back and would've sold it/traded it in), and luckily his turned out to be the original.

I run Cooper STT’s on my Superduty, but put a set of Nokian Outpost AT’s on my Yukon because there were no Michelin’s in town and they were highly recommended. Made in Tennessee and siped for winter. Nokian is super popular up here for their winter tires (Finnish company), and I am very happy with mine. 2C26FA3E-6410-4602-9F79-F9181E77E2D5.jpg

So about a week ago I took a bad step off of a ladder. The result was a dislocated knee, a torn ACL and a severed quadriceps tendon. I had surgery on Thursday and came home yesterday afternoon. This will be my view for a few days.

It could be worse.

Ouch. Hope you heal up fast.

I almost had something like that happen a couple weeks ago. Headed down to the basement to workout and I don’t know what I was thinking, but I was distracted and missed the bottom step of the stairs.

Felt my ankle roll and immediately took the weight off it and was fast enough to do a quick step with the other foot to catch myself.

I was actually surprised that I didn’t even sprain or tweak the ankle, and was thinking how thankful I am that my reflexes and speed were still fast enough to prevent injury. Any slower, and it could’ve been bad.
