Random Thought Thread

So about a week ago I took a bad step off of a ladder. The result was a dislocated knee, a torn ACL and a severed quadriceps tendon. I had surgery on Thursday and came home yesterday afternoon. This will be my view for a few days.

aw shit, dude. Hang in there!

I know a lot of people who’ve told me that past a certain age, they decided never to get on a ladder again. Anything that required being on a ladder, got hired out.

My problem is, I have no innate fear of heights, but I probably should. 😞

I'm also not as strong or flexible as I remember and I wear bifocals now. I probably should stay off ladders at this point...

Glad it was not worse, but it still sucks! Try to be patient with recovery and best wishes healing. It takes serious cojones to re-set your own knee. Glad you were able to.

Looked good, but expensive @ $.9.99 a bag. The Ling Ling.

So naturally thought they must taste great at that price point.

They do to NOT taste good at all, the
selling point was the 2 packets of frozen
soy dipping sause, they called dipping sauce, totally sucked, homemade is WAY better!

The pork was bland and the flour wrapper was too chewy and thick. Huge disappointment,, but it did smell good while
steaming them.

Would NOT ever buy again or recommend them.

I’m not afraid of heights either. It’s falling through/off them and hitting the ground that worries me. 🤣😂
