UPS is the only way. May cost a bit more, but the service you receive overrides anything you can and will run into from USPS or FedX, including claims and tracking.

I’m not just being partial, but years of actual experience and actual service.

We get utterly terrible service from UPS here. Packages rarely show up when they are supposed to, they often go on walkabout before they get here, and the driver frequently claims to make a delivery attempt when there is no possibility that they have done so. I have had them leave firearms (I'm an FFL holder) and other signers leaning against my mailbox, 15 feet off a busy highway and a quarter mile from my house. The nearest functioning UPS counter (not counting The UPS Store, since you can't ship ammo from them) is more than 80 miles away (across the state line and 2 towns over). FedEx is slightly better in overall performance and has a counter 30 miles from the house. USPS we can reliably pick up at the post office, but of course can't ship ammo that way.

One report claimed that they need to move the packages around as centers fill-up with undelivered mail. Somehow that's easier than delivering it. We lost manufacturing, now we are losing logistics.

They store them in trailers on the lots. One scan tag on the outside takes care of all the inside packages, so you get a generic scan only once a day (if you’re lucky, but it’s supposed to happen).

When it travels by rail (train), you only get scanned upon leaving and once it arrives at its destination, thus the delay.

Our big hub had 7800 trailer spots outside, not including 1200 on the building. Just imaging the coordination in a 4 hour shift, 24 hours a day. We were right next to the rail yard too.

It was amazing coordination

Majority of the time I use the postal service to ship out (2 day priority) so the recipient receives usually between 2 and 3 days depending on location. Lately, receiving some packages has been goofy and with some going to extra destinations. Some will arrive across the river in Cincinnati and then go somewhere else like Indiana or Michigan. I don’t have any problem with UPS packages aside from not delivering to my front door which has a camera. If they’re small they goto my mailbox which is fine.
FedEx is the worst when it comes to shipping and delivery times.

My experiences.

Hope everyone's day is going better than mine, woke up to a check engine light yesterday, knock sensor circuit A....yay. Pulled the intake off my 2023 F-150 and found this nice mess. Going to get the pigtail right now. This dude nibbled the wires right up to the plug.
