Where were you going that you needed a limo?

I went to a concert on Friday with some friends and wanted to show up in a stretch limo, but all the limo services only have SUVs anymore

Jo and I watched "King of New York" with Christopher Walken last night. It's an early '90s cop and drug kingpin movie.

There were a lot of scenes with a limo.

One of the things I noticed, is it would drive by and you would look at the reflections off of it was how the body panels and door panels never really flow from one to another very well. The reflections look like you're looking at something reflected in the waves of an ocean.

All limos are like this to some extent, even that Maybach up there. They're so ostentatious and they invariably look shit.

I have a surface grinder to pick up near New York City this week.

I looked at the address and the thought of driving my truck and trailer through there made me feel sad.

I texted my broker and he got me a rate of $1,750. I'm going to let somebody else deal with this one.

But it occurs to me, driving a limousine through Manhattan traffic has got to suck. The maneuverability of the shorter wheelbase of a sport ute makes a lot of sense

I've always thought the classic MB 600 was cool car. I think I preferred the standard edition vs. the 600 Pullman.

Happy Sunday everyone! I got stuff I need to do but I am not doing jack chit today! We are taking this Sunday off, first time in a very long time where we are just going to relax and enjoy it. It’s turning out to be a beautiful day today! Going to go play outside in a bit with our RC cars.

Just finished doing the final prep of my income tax returns for 2024 & I found it ironic that the lump sum back payment for $ due in 2024 that I received from the SSA under the Social Security Fairness Act: Windfall Elimination Provision was almost exactly equal to what I have to pay for income taxes.

And, of course, the lump sum that I received will be added to my taxable income for 2025. So, while it's nice to think that I didn't have to pay any income taxes this year, next year will be different.
