Random Thought Thread

I wouldn't have thought to look into this. My wife had a very hard time staying hydrated so she drinks liquid IV. I'm going to look until the Cera products right now
The various tabs and links here, can lead you to more things to look into yourself (to decide if it’s merely marketing for their own product, or based on biology and testing).

The Science of Cera products

That they have several NSNs (National Stock Number) for their various products for government procurement, and are issued to our military, is another indicator. DripDrop is another brand with NSNs that was also issued to our troops stationed in the Middle East, but the DripDrop sticks are mixed with 8oz of water each, while each Cerasport/Cerasport EX1 stick is mixed with 500ml/16.9oz of water, making the Cera products cheaper even before that 40% off code I listed.

Utterly unrelated and out of the blue.

As the bills add up for the home renovation that’s pulled me almost entirely out of the hobby, I’ve considered listing prime pieces of CPK history at exactly 3pm on Friday to correspond with official sales. Would that be too evil? Would it interfere with the compounds sales(highly unlikely)? The idea is appealing from an annoyance standpoint.

Every sale, list one piece of goodness in the main for sale at the same time.

While I loath to release my grip on my hoard, the idea of making someone suffer through the personal decision of new product vs old stock makes me giggle like the school girl I am.

Is that too rude?

Happy America day everyone!

Liquid IV and LMNT have great marking and tons of YouTubers promoting them. One reason I have been hesitant about buying/trying them. Will read up on Cera.

I have extensive experience with both DripDrop and Cera products and can attest to the effectiveness of each. But for the price, I save those products for really long events. For workouts less than 2 hours I literally use my own version of the WHO’s ORS recipe. 1 tsp table salt and a little honey in a 1 liter of water; it’s cheap and works great.

Perfect amount of rude.

I was sitting in my garage this morning drinking my coffee, looking out onto the street.
A grackle went flying past the front of my garage and I was suddenly startled by a shadow. The shadow was from a raptor that expertly flew directly into my garage, snagging the grackle out of the air.
The raptor did a 180 degree turn less than ten feet in front of me (brushing the manual release string on the garage door opener) and flew back out again with the grackle in talon.
The space was pretty tight.
Although brutal, it was also extremely impressive.
It was like watching a fighter jet with thrust vectoring do one of those sliding turns.

My bird story for today is not nearly as dramatic.

When I took the dog out this morning, there was a tiny little bird up by our parking area lying on its side seemingly hyperventilating. I kept the dog away and returned to it after our walk...and it was sitting upright and flew to a nearby tree.

I went out to check on it a bit later and it was on the treated lumber alongside the other side of the parking area. So I put on some gloves and it looks like one of its wings was damaged or inoperable. I put it in an area to be as comfortable as it could be until nature took its course. I didn't have the heart to kill it.

Hopefully it can recover. I’ve had similar experiences and been pleasantly surprised. Also occasionally they hit my windows and get stunned or knocked out and I have to get to them before the cat or dogs and move them to a safe location. More times than not they have recovered.
