My father was a radio operator in a B17 during the 2nd world war.
That must've been the Dodge made by Ford. LOL
I had a '67 Fury III I inherited from my dad. Lots of room under the hood to work on that 383.The Mopars were my favorites.
Easiest to wrench on and cheapest to repair. Bone yards had everything.
Lots of HP for the money back then.
That’s no lie.I still have my 70's Challenger (a '74 redone as a '71 RT) with the 440 ci 6-pack engine. Nothing sounds as good as a big block with a big cam![]()
May have mentioned this somewhere before, but I owned a Fury III for awhile (my brother and I shared it; '68 383 auto, 4-door, light blue) that we inherited from my great grandma when she passed in '94.I had a '67 Fury III I inherited from my dad. Lots of room under the hood to work on that 383.
I love the B-17 despite the fact that the B-24 was the better bomber. Same with the P-47, despite the fact that the P-51 was superior.Well, someone's gotta rep for the B-17
