Random Thought Thread

Random….one bad thing about living in AK is getting things shipped up here. Some companies/people refuse to ship at all, or charge a ton.

I wanted a rifle that is not in stock locally and shipping charges from lower 48 dealers to a local FFL were $100, $140, and $200 from the company. Another rifle I liked was on sale in PA for a great price and only charging $13.95 to ship. I was able to confirm and grt it in writing. 🤣. Shipping it out on Monday.

Yeah, we're kinda stuck. The last generation to experience an analog world before digital took over, but there's still too much of our information online as ours was the first generation to dive into the miasma of social media.

Millennial are generally 1981-1996. My older sister was born in 82 and, although she "doesn't like labels," she insists she's a Grand Millennial. So apparently that's a thing.
Should ask her, “Grand… or Grande, like a latte?” 😂

One more joke that applies to Millennials...

I’m in the market right now looking for a car for my son. I found a Jeep rubicon with low miles. It’s a 2008 with only 40K miles. It’s been on the same lot for sale for a good price. I’ve been wondering why it hasn’t been snatched up.
Then I realized that it’s probably because it’s a manual.

At first, I was like.... That's lame

Because I'm gen x. And I'm awesome.

But, actually, I think that's pretty cool. Healthy even. Well, obviously not healthy. But something not terrible. I'm okay with it.
I'm gen x too, and there is nothing cool, healthy, or not terrible about having a parent involved in interviews and talking to your manager.

Sales have really slowed on all vehicles
