If it's a samsung..... I actually had the same issue
Posted about it numerous times in 2023, how the autocorrect on my S22 Ultra was way worse than the autocorrect on my several generations older S8, to the point it was changing CORRECTLY spelled words arbitrarily.
That more than anything, annoyed me so much, I actually switched to an iPhone (and anyone who’s used one platform for a long time, whether it’s Android or iPhone, usually hates the idea of switching, and having to learn the idiosyncrasies of the other platform). No regrets.
After getting used to the differences, the only downside that I really noticed, is that the S22 Ultra’s camera/videocamera has significantly better low light performance than the 15 ProMax.
Taking a video of a crowd at a concert with the S22 Ultra, when we looked at it later, “Wow… I KNOW it wasn’t this bright when I recorded the video. We could only make out silhouettes holding up lit phones and lighters, but we can clearly make out faces in the video”.
In contrast, when I took a video with the 15 ProMax in similar lighting, it was a lot darker and MUCH grainier.
Other than that narrow use case, I’ll likely be sticking with iPhones from now. I use the talk-to-text while driving, and with the exception of uncommon words, it works well, for me (although it isn’t great at punctuation).
