I was using up some more of that scrap I cut off the edges. Since it's small.. I didn't wanna fight the 10oz the whole time I was sewing so I skived it thinner to something more in the 6-8oz range. Now I'm wet forming it with a vacuum sealer.
It was fun practice. I'll try something way more complicated soon for the BC/HDFK rig I wanna make. I'm thinking of buying some 8oz Wickett & Craig for that. They're really proud of that stuff though so we'll see.

Oh yeah! I also made this. My 2 yr old thought the face on the back of the cinnamon toast crunch box was hilarious so I made it into a mask. She's still squealing
BTW Would you pay $75 for a really nice I.C. Cut lockback made in Seki? It' says it's got pearl handle scales (probably not real pearl.. or even MoP) probably from the 80's or 90's

Big and very close lightning strike knocked out my WiFi. Full network stack power cycle brought it back online.
Left for lunch and soon noticed no cell signal. Turns out to be a nationwide outage at VZW. Get home only to find out the cable modem Ethernet port failed, likely due to the earlier lightning.
Neighbor let us borrow his work phone until we have service again. Great neighbor!

How do you get the vacuum sealer to not show the indents of the bag on your sheaths? Do you use a Commerical sealer vs the retail ones?
