Back from mattress shoppingOh hay where is everyone???!
I was using up some more of that scrap I cut off the edges. Since it's small.. I didn't wanna fight the 10oz the whole time I was sewing so I skived it thinner to something more in the 6-8oz range. Now I'm wet forming it with a vacuum sealer.Oh hay where is everyone???!
Oh yeah! I also made this. My 2 yr old thought the face on the back of the cinnamon toast crunch box was hilarious so I made it into a mask. She's still squealingOh hay where is everyone???!
Did someone execute on my carbon fiber saya idea?
That vacuum bag is a great idea / I thought sheaths were molded by hand ….I was using up some more of that scrap I cut off the edges. Since it's small.. I didn't wanna fight the 10oz the whole time I was sewing so I skived it thinner to something more in the 6-8oz range. Now I'm wet forming it with a vacuum sealer.
It was fun practice. I'll try something way more complicated soon for the BC/HDFK rig I wanna make. I'm thinking of buying some 8oz Wickett & Craig for that. They're really proud of that stuff though so we'll see.
